Location

Headland View, Babbacombe is located on Babbacombe Downs, approximately two and half miles from Torquay.  Walking into Torquay will take around 45 minutes, with most of the walk being down hill.  We recommend using public transport when coming from Torquay to Headland View, due to the steep hills.  Buses leave from outside Debenhams department store across from Torquay harbour, the route is serviced by the number 22.  Alternatively, taxis are available from Torquay harbour and will cost around £10.

Arriving by Car

Take A380 signed post for Torquay for approximately 13 miles.  Turn left onto Hamelin Way for 1 mile, then turn left onto Hele Road at traffic lights. At second roundabout take first left onto Teignmouth Road and then third exit at the next roundabout onto Westhill Road.  After a half mile, turn left onto Manor Road and then at the end of the road, right onto Babbacombe Road.  After around 200 yards, turn left onto Babbacombe Downs Road.  Headland View is approximately half a mile down on the right-hand side, located between Babbacombe Bay House and Seabreeze.

Arriving by Train

Torquay Train Station is located just a few feet from Abbey Sands beach and to the west of Torquay town centre.  Taxis are available from outside the station, with the journey to Headland View taking around 20 minutes, depending on traffic and will cost approximately £10.
